Building in Georgia!

As part of a state-wide collaboration between universities and federally qualified health centers, we engage in problem discovery, prototyping technologies, and improving processes with the ultimate goal of entrepreneurship.

Rural Georgia is home to over a quarter of those living in the state, and encompass 129 of its 159 counties. Rural Georgia also has among the highest rates of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and other non-communicable disease burdens in the country.

Along with community leaders in Rural Georgia and colleagues from Emory University, Georgia Tech’s Institute for People and Technology, Augusta University, Georgia Southern University, and Mercer School of Medicine, we are developing technology and data solutions for cardiovascular and metabolic disease, maternal and child health, and substance use disorder.
